Wine Spectator

Polished and focused, with gorgeous cherry, currant and mineral flavors mingling seamlessly on the taut structure, finishing sleek and balanced with mouthwatering acidity. Drink now through 2019. 250 cases made.

Score: 92. —Harvey Steiman, October 15, 2011.

Wine Advocate

The 2009 Pinot Noir Estate is composed of 80% Pommard clone and 20% Dijon clone 115 that spent 16 months in 20% new French oak. It offers up an already complex perfume of exotic spices, incense, cherry, and raspberry that titillate the nose. This is followed by a savory, elegant, nicely proportioned Pinot that will evolve for 1-2 years and provide enjoyment through 2019.

Score: 91. —Jay Miller, October 2011.
