With the sudden passing of Dagueneau taking the wine world by surprise, we find it bitter to sweet to offer this bottle of Silex. Appreciate the red-haired rebel’s intense citrusy, herbaceous and flinty Sauvignon Blanc.
Wine Spectator
An intense, nervy style, with lemon zest, pink grapefruit, sweetened butter and mineral notes that stay focused through the lengthy, mouthwatering finish. Has impressive grip and buried minerality for the vintage. Drink now through 2012.
Score: 93.

Wine Advocate
Pretty perfume of floral aromas – orange blossom and honeysuckle – supplemented by lemon zest and green apple. Very crisp, rasping acidity. Really nervy vibrancy within an elegant, mineral style. Long finish.
